Careers Talk Dr Stephen Brown GP

🌟 Exploring the World of Medicine! 🌟
Today our Year 9 students were fortunate to be joined by GP Dr Stephen Brown, who delivered an inspiring careers assembly all about “the world of medicine.”
Dr Brown shared valuable insights into the wide range of pathways within healthcare, from frontline patient care to specialist medical fields.
Following the assembly, a group of students who had expressed an interest in careers such as nursing, midwifery, surgery, physiotherapy, and military service took part in a hands‑on workshop.
🩺 Students explored real medical equipment, learned about its purpose in clinical settings, and discussed the skills and qualities needed to succeed in different healthcare roles.
It was an exciting and empowering opportunity that left many students feeling motivated about their future career possibilities.
