Pastoral Support

Chilmington Green School opened to 120 Year 7 students in 2023, growing to 1040 by 2030. As we grow, we will continue to have a close-knit, family atmosphere, with all students known by all staff, strong holistic pastoral care and high standards of behaviour. Students will be supported by their tutor, head of year, pastoral support staff and the wider school community.

When students enter the school, they are placed in one of our houses: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple. The house system creates a clear sense of belonging as students compete against each other in a variety of activities, including sport, the arts and academic performance.
