Drama Club Drama Studio Drama club - Come along to Drama Club for confidence‑boosting games, exciting performance activities, and loads of fun with friends. No experience needed!
Film Club (Year 8 & 9 only)  Room 1.03 Join us as we explore the world of cinema! Each week, we’ll watch a range of films and discuss what makes them great. We’ll dive into scripts, analyse storytelling techniques, and even try our hand at storyboarding our own film ideas. Perfect for anyone who loves movies and wants to learn more about how they’re made! 
DT Club (Year 7 & 8 Only) DT Department Design and Technology Club is back for Terms 4 and 5! Design is all about collaboration, and in D&T Club you’ll work as a team to tackle challenging design problems that go beyond your usual classroom projects. This is a great opportunity to spend extra time in the workshop and develop your skills.
Languages Club MFL Department MFL Club offers added cultural value beyond language learning alone. It is ideal for students who are keen to explore other cultures in greater depth, including aspects such as food, music and cinema. The club also offers interested students the opportunity to be introduced to Italian as an additional language, alongside the language they study during their normal timetable.
Choir Club Music Department We have an external professional singer booked to deliver our new choir club. With experience at the Royal Opera House, West End Musicals and much more this club will be an exciting opportunity for you to develop your singing and performance skills. No previous experience required. If you attended choir club last term we would love for you to continue and front the new whole school choir group.
SPARX Maths Support Club ICT Department Afterschool Sparx Maths Support Club
Need a little extra help with your Sparx homework? Join us after school for a friendly, focused session where you can get support, ask questions, and boost your confidence in maths. Whether you’re catching up or aiming for top marks, we’re here to help you succeed!
DJ Club Room 1.06 Learn how to mix tracks, beat match, and create smooth transitions. Build confidence using DJ equipment and develop your own unique sound. 
Book Club Room 1.02 Do you love reading? If so, Book Club is for you! You will have the opportunity to bring in a book that interests you, spend time quietly reading and considering your thoughts on the story. As a group, we will be thinking critically about the genres, plots and characters and creating a booklet to review your chosen text. This club is a chance for you to gain skills in critical thinking, debating and presenting. 
Dungeons & Dragons Club Room 1.18 Do you love stories, creativity, and epic quests? Then come roll the dice with us! Our Dungeons & Dragons Club is the perfect place to: Create amazing characters and explore fantastic worlds, Team up with friends to solve puzzles, fight monsters, and uncover secrets, Learn storytelling skills and boost your imagination.
Homework Support Club (ICT Access) ICT 2 If you need some additional time, support or ICT access come along and do some of your home learnings after school with the support of Mrs Mansfield and Mrs Smith. 
Badminton Club (Year 9 only) Sports Hall Come along and improve your competitive badminton skills with Miss Wood. We will work on our singles and doubles games, skills and tactics. 
Girls Basketball Club MUGA Girls Basketball after school club is back in Terms 4 and 5 on Tuesday nights, and it’s the perfect way to keep the fun going after PE. Build on the skills you’ve been learning in lessons—dribbling, passing, shooting, teamwork and game play—while enjoying fast-paced drills, friendly challenges and exciting mini-games. Whether you’re keen to improve your confidence or just love playing basketball with friends, this club is all about skill development, teamwork and having fun. Lace up your trainers and join us for an energetic end to the school day.

Word Games / Puzzle Club Room 1.01 Word games:  Love puzzles? Enjoy a challenge? Join our KS3 Word Games Club and dive into a world of crosswords, anagrams, word searches, and brain-teasing fun! It’s the perfect way to boost your vocabulary, and stretch your thinking.
Yoga Club Dance Studio Come along to our new Yoga club in the Dance Studio and work on your meditation, flexibility and mindfullness. We have mats but if you'd like to bring your own you are very welcome to. A great way to meet new friends and relax at the end of a busy school day!
Crafting Club Lab 6 Craft club - come and try out a variety of different craft techniques, including greetings cards, origami boxes, painting pebbles and a model making project from recycled objects.  Some crafts will require you have your gluestick, a pencil, and for the recycled project some recycling items from card, like kitchen towel roll/cereal boxes etc.
Chess Club Room 1.16 Come along and play some competitive chess with like minded peers! A fantastic opportunity to improve your existing skills or if you've never played but always wanted to, come and learn this fantastic game!
Bake off Club (Year 8 & 9 Only) Food Tech Our baking club is perfect for students eager to learn and develop their baking skills through hands-on experience. Each session introduces new recipes, techniques, and kitchen confidence. To support learning and independence, students are expected to provide their own ingredients each week, following the guidance given beforehand and a suitable container to bring home their goodies!

Eco Club Room 1.17 Join us as we work together to make our school an even better place by caring for the environment, reducing waste, and creating positive change across our school community. We’ll be taking exciting steps towards achieving our Silver Flag, with hands‑on projects, fun activities, and opportunities for students to have their voices heard. If you’re passionate about the planet and want to help make a difference, this club is for you! Let’s work together to create a greener school and earn our Silver Flag!

Gardening Club Outside Area Come along and help create our new garden and sensory space at Chilmington. You will need a set of gardening gloves and some clothes and trainers you won't mind getting a little muddy. We'll be planting new flowers, growing vegetables and much more!
