If your child would like some extra mathematics practice to feel more prepared for starting secondary school in September, there are two optional booklets for them to complete over the summer break.

Each booklet has 10 sessions, with 20 short questions they have studied in primary school, and each session will take approximately 20 minutes. The aim is to reach 100% by the end of session 10. The first booklet covers standard primary content, and the second booklet is an extension in order to stretch your child’s thinking further.

For each booklet your child completes and brings into school to show their Maths teacher in September, they will receive 5 school value points.
