Day 1 – Battlefields Tour – Menin Gate Ceremony & Wreath Presentation from Chilmington Green School.
An amazing, respectful experience for our Year 9 Battlefields students who were privileged to watch the Menin Gate ceremony this evening. A huge well done to Louisa, Riley and Bao Nam who also laid a wreath on behalf of the school.
The Battlefields students have spent the afternoon learning about the importance of Ypres and exploring the dugout and trench replicas that exist here.
